We are saddened by the loss of William Anthony Finn Sr. who joined the Lord on July 26, 2010. He was predeceased by a son, Joseph and a daughter, Geraldine. He served his country honorably as a member of the U.S. Army for 26 years. He was awarded a 4th degree knighthood in the Knights of Columbus. He served as co-President of the St Vincent DePaul Society in Sun City, AZ. He was full of life and radiated joy to all who were around him. He will be remembered as a well-loved husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife Sarah, his nine children: Marie Sullivan of Shasta Lake CA., William Finn Jr. of Houston Texas, Edward Finn of Lynn Mass, Earl Finn of Merrimack NH, Elizabeth Orcutt of Sugar Hill GA, Martha Finn of Bedford NH, Eileen Finn of Bedford NH, Patrick Finn of McChord AFB WA, Angela Turner of Sugar Hill GA and his thirteen grandchildren: Nichole, Janice, William III, Joseph, Rebecca, Megan, Amber, Alan John, Katelyn, Marc, Steven, Desiree’, and Paul Jr. A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010, 8-9:30 AM at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Water Street, Skowhegan, Maine.
