Vivian “Bib” B Steward, 76, of Skowhegan, passed away Tuesday January 15, 2013 following a long illness in Skowhegan, Maine. She was born March 20, 1936, in Fairfield, Maine, the son of Glen Harrington and Alice I. (Stickney) Harrington. She was educated in area schools. Vivian worked for Norrwock Shoe Company in Skowhegan for a few years and then became a homemaker for many years. She loved to sing with the family whenever they would get together. She enjoyed cookouts with the family, enjoyed going for rides, and playing and listening to a music CD that her brothers made singing together. Besides her husband Donald “Bing” Steward of 55 years of Skowhegan, she is survived by her seven children; Donnie Steward and his wife Toni of Skowhegan, Ronnie Steward of Skowhegan, Steven Steward and his companion Jeffrey Phillips of Concord, NH, Markie Steward of Clinton, Kevin Steward and his wife Mary of Skowhegan, Troy Steward of Clinton, Kimberly Teixeira and her husband Owen of Skowhegan, her brother Donald Harrington of Madison, seven grandchildren; Tabatha, Nicholas, Kimmie, Linda, Robert, Riley, and Kody, six great-grandchildren, many brother and sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and father, her brothers; Harold Ronald and Glen. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday January 26, 2013 from 1 to 3 pm at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison, Maine.
