CANAAN - It is with great sadness that the family of Suzi Nelson shares with you her passing on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the age of 48. Suzi will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Corey; children, Heather and Cody; parents, Janice and Craigin Howland of Punta Gorda, FL, and Stephen Jewell of Skowhegan. She enjoyed fishing, hiking, and family outings, and was a Wizard of Oz fanatic. Born in Connecticut, she relocated after high school from Massachusetts to Maine and worked at Formtek in Clinton for 21 years She is also survived by her brother, Stevie (Christie) Jewell; sisters, Katie Anton (Jesse) and Stephanie (Chris) Miller; brother-in-law, Michael Nelson; sisters-in-law, Gayle (Derek) Maroon and Tara (Carlton) Savage; and her father in-law and mother in-law Arthur and Barbara Nelson and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held at the Skowhegan Federated Church on Monday, February 18 at 12 pm with services at 1 pm. A reception will immediately follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
