Gary D. Twitchell, 79, of Kingfield, peacefully passed away on Thursday August 15, 2013, at his home in Kingfield, Maine.

He was born May 14, 1934, in Dexter, the son of the late Porter and Beatrice E. (Davis) Twitchell.

Gary attended Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield. He then joined the Air Force.

Gary worked for many years doing many different jobs over his years. Gary was a very fun-loving man who enjoyed every minute he spent with his family and especially loved family gatherings. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crossword puzzles and just getting out and going for rides and visiting anyone he knew along the way.

He will be sadly missed by his children, grandchildren, brother, and all of his extended family and friends.

He is survived by his three sons, three daughters, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, his brother, Barry Twitchell and his wife, Joan of Brewer, and many nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
