Gloria F. Sirois, 84, of Skowhegan passed away peacefully Saturday January 6, 2018 at her home in Skowhegan, Maine. Gloria was a strong woman that always had a smile on her face and love in her heart for all who were around her. She had a love for bingo and all the friends she made over the years, she and her best friend Theresa Irwin traveled all over. She worked as a clerk for Laverdiere’s Drug Stores and McClellan’s Department Store for many years as a clerk and became asst. manager her last year with them. She enjoyed seeing all her customers and friends. She loved to go to Mei Lei Garden with her sister Roberta. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Sirois they were married 38 years, her mother Vera (Moore) Duley, her father Asa Duley, and her sister Silvia. She is survived by her two children, Scott Sirois and his wife Sherryl of Skowhegan, Sheri Sirois and her fiancé Mike Walburn of Lynn haven, FL; three grandchildren, Joshua Sirois, Jessica Sirois, and Trevor Walburn; one sister Roberta Mayo and her husband Alfred of N. Anson; two brothers, Richard Duley of Anson, Todd Duley of Anson; several great-grandchildren. A special thank you to her best friends Theresa and Larry Irwin, Beverly Grover, and Pat Spinney, sorry if I missed some from long ago. The family would like to extend special thanks for the ones that helped with her care for the last seven years, to Care and Comfort for having helped her in her daily routines and to her doctor Michael Lambke and nurse Mimi McCutcheon. Extra special thanks to her granddaughter Jessica who was always helping with her care even when she wasn’t asked too. A private graveside will be held in the spring for family and friends. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
