Jackman – Clifton Henry Pease, 91, passed peacefully into the presence of Jesus on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Northern Light Lakewood Continuing Care in Waterville. Clifton was born in Jackman on February 5, 1933, son of Henry H. Pease and Geneva A. Wilson. He attended school in Jackman and proudly served his country in the US Army in Korea.

Clifton will be remembered for his kind nature, his many great stories that detailed his time with his father in the woods running a trap line, topping trees as an arborist in Connecticut, winning dozens of trophies in lumberjack competitions, hunting birds, and fishing for trout in the Jackman area.

Clifton will be laid to rest in Jackman next to his parents at a later date.

His family would like to thank the staff of Northern Light Lakewood Continuing Care for caring for Clifton during the last two years and Beacon Hospice for their attention to details in Clifton’s final days.
